Delafield Deserves a Mayor Who Listens.

Women make up more than 50% of Delafield’s population, but under Tim Aicher the city’s committees have more than a 2:1 men-to-women ratio. This is not a flaw. This is by design.

Women deserve an equal voice, especially in local government.

On Day 1 as Mayor, Aaron will work to achieve a balanced City Hall by immediately disrupting the Old Boys Club with women who want to be part of shaping the future of Delafield.

Ask Delafield citizens and you will find out quickly: Lake Country Fire & Rescue (LCFR) is a best-in-class fire department filled with leadership, speedy service and a true spirit of service to the community.

However, for months the City has played games with its fire partners and neighboring communities.

We want LCFR focused on keeping our community safe, not City Hall politics.

Aaron is a builder of relationships and as an attorney, he has a background in negotiating complex labor and shared services contracts.

As Mayor, Aaron’s #1 priority will be getting a long term deal done with the other six fire communities and ensure LCFR is the long-term fire and EMS provider for the City of Delafield. 

On Day One as Mayor, Aaron will partner with the Chamber of Commerce to strengthen support for local businesses and promote the unique shops and restaurants that make Delafield special.

Aaron will immediately launch a Small Business Task Force made up of local business owners to develop practical ideas for a stronger downtown—ideas that will be shared publicly for community feedback before action is taken.

Aaron’s goal is simple: create a downtown Delafield that doesn’t just survive - it thrives.

In 2025, Tim Aicher pushed for allocation of more than $115,000 of the City’s budget - including taxpayer funds - on building an aluminum pier in St. John’s Bay. This is despite years of significant resident opposition and thousands of dollars in litigation fighting neighbors who didn’t want it.

The result? Wasted dollars and broken trust with residents.

Aaron will put an end to wasteful spending and will not use taxpayer dollars on divisive projects.

There will always be hard choices in local government. Projects like the Pier should be fair and balanced, and is an example where private sponsorship (not taxpayer dollars) should have been explored.

The good news is Delafield doesn’t have much undeveloped land left. We don’t face the risk of big-box sprawl or massive housing tracts that don’t fit our community.

Delafield’s future lies in smart, well-designed projects that add value while preserving the city’s character. That means focusing on improving existing buildings and supporting residents and private developers who want to invest in Delafield without using taxpayer dollars—no TIF subsidies.

As Mayor, Aaron will evaluate every project with an open mind, insist on public input at every step, and support development that truly benefits the community.
